Abstract:Background Aim: Individual herbs, according Ayurveda, are insufficient provide the intended medicinal effect. When it is adjusted as a multiple herb composition in certain ratio, provides greater impact with less toxicity. This investigation an attempt evaluate wound healing activity poly herbal formulation along in-vitro in-vivo pharmacological on Swiss albino rats. Experimental Procedure: Full skin defects were made dorsal region rats order examine healing. The polyherbal was carried out by (hydroxyproline, collagen hexosamine) (excision burn) assays histopathological study. Silver sulfadiazine used standard drug for experimental work this project while ketamine hydrochloride (20mg/kg intramuscular) anesthize agent. use 2 μg/ml 4 formulations resulted substantial mobilization keratinocytes fibroblasts at injury site, respectively. In case vitro activity, effect biochemical measures such hydroxyproline, hexosamine turnover enhanced compared untreated group. Results: Polyherbal containing extract applied area day 0, 3rd, 6th, 9th found more significant. Burn last observed 26.30 ± 0.5 surgically produced 13.666± 0.8. Conclusion: Finally, basis above results, we can conclude that may breakthrough treatment future.
